I had the livestream page open for 5 hours before the show actually started at 9:30...I didn't want to miss it! Nothing happened until 9:20 when it said "The show will be starting soon"....
All during the livestream, people watching were tweeting with #ImagineDragonsLive which had the little evolve emoji!
*spoilers if you haven't seen the Evolve tour live!*
The show started with a very surreal opening about the evolution of humans on the screens. The stage was dark. Then the band appeared, surrounded by rainbow lasers, and they started playing I Don't Know Why. It's an amazing song live, and the opening and transition was fantastic! :O
I don't remember everything they played, but some of my favourite moments were
-I'M SO SORRY WITH THE GUITAR SOLO!!!! This song has so much energy live!
-everyone singing along to Believer and I Bet My Life
-Demons when people waved their phone lights in the air
-Dan made a beautiful speech about depression before playing Demons, and he said, "Your life is worth living always, always, always."
-on the B stage, they played Bleeding Out, Shots, and Amsterdam acoustic
-Start Over with the smoke bubbles
-everyone yelling YESTERDAY together
-playing the drums in Radioactive! I was worried Dan might try to fight another drum but he didn't, so that's good
-Gold live!!!
-Eliot playing the keyboard for acoustic Shots
-Ben doing a bass solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-I'll Make It Up To You! A lot of the audience was singing along and the guitar was amazing!
-watching how happy they all were
-RISE UP
-all of it!! I loved the whole thing!!
Out of all the people watching, I probably tweeted the most! whoops...
Some of the more interesting things I said!
It was amazing watching everyone tweeting! It was like being at a concert together with the twitter squad!
Unfortunately, the livestream was only available in the US and Canada. But the Dragons have tweeted that people outside those areas will get to see it...
Despite this, Imagine Dragons Australia joined the stream by opening a VPN. :O
Did anyone else watch the stream? What were your favourite parts?
